Designing Visually Exciting Packaging While Meeting Customer Requests

SeaLegs Master Case

Packaging Design • Blender • 3D Software Research

When one of Trident Seafood’s customer had an urgent request for a brand-new master case design for their SeaLegs Surimi, I jumped at the chance to deliver something visually stunning. With only 600 cases to make and a tight deadline, I leveraged innovative 6 color digital printing to make packaging that really popped and stayed true to the SeaLegs iconic branding.

To further enhance the customer experience and showcase my design concept, I dove into the 3D software Blender. This allowed me to research, visualize, and create a digital comp that showed the customer exactly how the new design would look before it was even made. I worked together with a talented photographer and food stylist to make sure the images on the box would look super inviting.

In the end, my design made the customer really happy because the packaging was just right – eye-catching and exactly what they wanted.
